Linda, California. In the past many Canthaxanthin [products] sold as tanning
pills were of the yellow / orange-base type, which [had the side
effect of ] making the skin
look a very unnatural orangey-yellow color. This Canthaxanthin
[product] is
red-brown based... This Canthaxanthin is of the highest quality, and is the
purest and darkest Canthaxanthin available. It contains no
additional chemicals. It is all natural and is sold by RPM not as a tanning
pill but as a "natural carotenoid food color" and an anti-oxidant.
The FDA does not allow any Canthaxanthin to be sold as a tanning
pill. RPM says that, if you take this product, one of the side
effects will the coloring of the skin to a reddish-brown color.

through a few bottles of their Canthaxanthin and I can tell you this
stuff works great.
